Road monsters of Japan

Posted by: brb In: Places| Tech ()

When a countrywide group of Japanese custom-car aficionados meet somewhere in the Kanto area of Japan, you’re sure to see some weird, deformed, barely rideable machines. I doubt these can be used on ordinary roads in Japan, but they’re kind of cool though, in a kinky kind of way. (Click on the pictures to go to the author’s photo collection of the event.)

A fleet of insanely modified Japanese cars

I don’t get why they put a front porch on their cars? Did you ask what the purpose of that was, if any?

Also, did you ask permission from ch.knuckles or inform her/him that you’d be featuring her/his photos in your post before posting them? Just wondering.

Hi Jason, they’re weird I know. And I really have no idea why they have that thing on their front.

The photographer has set his photos so that any flickr member can blog about them. If you’re a flickr member, you can confirm this when you browse the photostream, you will see a “Blog This” button.

What is the point! It’s not stylish, it contains no design elements, no taste, just material add-ons.
Why not get involved in real-world design and make a meaningful contribution to our time on the planet, nand the planet itself. Or spend the money trying to save the life of a child dieing of hunger somewhere!
All these monstrosities should be set alight on 05 November
